Explosion box Birthday card

Hello friends

This is a 4x4  Exploding box which substitutes a greeting card in a unique form with options to add personalized messages and even a small gift along with photographs. Today Im sharing 2 birthday boxes made for 2 besties and who wanted it to be very similar to each other .

The box is a 4 by 4 dimensional piece of pure love and beauty! Once opened the four sides fall delicately to reveal the gorgeous designs with options to write messages for the recipient. Here u can see  I have created an triple heart easel for the centre

This is how I have made this -
  • I have used a 12"x12" pattern paper sheet and scored it  at 4" and 8" then rotated the sheet and scored again at 4" and 8" using my Martha stewart Score board to make my box base.
  • Inside again I have repeated the scoring using a different pattern paper , cut them and layered them on the base with half a inch difference .
  • I planned the inside look with Four decorated sides and 4 pictures .
  • For the center  I have used spellbinders Classic Scalloped Heart to create the triple heart easel.
  • I love to keep it simple and don't over embellish my boxes so added Pictures and  handmade embellishments
  • One side I have made a pocket and filled then with tags .
  • I have used Kaisercraft birthday sentiments and sentiments from Mudra stamps to complete the look .
  •  I have decorated a gift box cover with chipzeb frame from Mudra stamp and Birthday sentiments!
  • The sticker embellishments are from Itsy Bitsy and the paper pack used here is from papericious .

Here are the close ups of each flaps in the box !

That's it from my side for today.  I would love to hear! Thank you for stopping by!

Love This

Hello friends ,
who follow me on instagram might have seen a sneak peak of this already !
I document my life with scrapbooking and journaling my trips and special moments .

Here's a layout from my latest trip to Dubai and this couldn't be complete without the Beautiful Butterfly Chipzeb .

This is picture taken at Dubai Miracle garden and clicked by my son and hence very dear to us !
I have made sure I capture the essence of the garden in this layout , Miracle Garden is one of a kind in the region and in the world for such a unique display and extravagant outdoor recreational destination. The Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The garden was launched on Valentine's Day in 2013. The garden occupies over 72,000 square metres (780,000 sq ft), making it the world's largest natural flower garden featuring over 109 million flowers planted.

  • I have used 12x12 pattern paper and layered my picture on a photo mat created using Big beary Hugs paper pack .
  • The picture was clicked in the Garden and I needed the right elements to go for the layout so I have used  Floral Frames Chipzeb and Leaves Chipzeb
  • Further I have added sentiments and butterfly from Beautiful Butterflies Chipzeb.
  • This layout wouldn't be complete with the Love Chipzeb.

Almost all the products used here are from Mudra . Do join us celebrate Mudra Turning 2 on their Blog

You are Fabulous !

Hello friends ,

Spring in India is the temperate season, mainly a transition between winter and summer. Spring implies renewal just after winter is leaving and before extreme humid temperatures take over most parts of  India . Green vegetation, rolling grasslands and blooming flowers mark the unfolding of spring season in India and my Today's creation is just inspired with it !

Today I have a sunny creation to share , a Birthday card .  How I made it -

  • I started with A2 sized  card base in green from  Docrafts Papermania Premium Textured Cardstock.
  • Next I layered a cardstock on which I have done the background yellow completely with Tim Holtz distress ink fossilized amber .
  • Then I have layered a pattern paper scrap from my stash coordinating the theme .
  • I have assembled the three wild flowers from Itsy Bitsy - Little Birdie Flower collection .
  • Added the sentiment from Sara Davies Timeless Moments Stamp Set .
  • I have layered it over the Black cardstock to give it a dimension
  • Finished the card with a Bakers twine in green

That's it from my side for today.  I would love to hear! Thank you for stopping by!

Hello friends ,

Today I'm here to share a Sunshine Baby album , All who have known me know my love for baby books and how simple I like to keep them .

Here is a glimpse into a sunshine theme baby album for a Mom to be . Sharing a few close ups and a collage of the layouts . This is made using Beary Hugs pattern paper which makes it much more easier to put all the tags and theme together.

I have a journaling space for the mom to be to note her experience here and this is a stamp set you will love if you are into baby book making ! I have stamped and coloured the image with watercolor pens .

This book would make a perfect gift for a baby shower function with perfectly laid out layouts for pictures and perfect space for journaling the details along and this one paper pack is more than enough to make it all !!

As the month of March month begins , its the exam fever that takes over India and yes its the time of the year when the schools have their final assessments and close down for summer .

A very dear friend of mine is writing his final exams in the next few days and to encourage him , I decided to create this card.

Wishing a lil boy who loves the book "how to catch a star " all the very best for his exams 💙 .

This card is put together with mft stamps die-namics stars , dcwvinc paper stack ; maya_road chipboard elements ; papericious Azealian paper pack .

The big star is a chipboard element which I have coloured with teal colour chalk paint. Rest of the chipboard elements I have kept them as it is to give dimension and depth to the card .

Thanks with a Flower Bunch !

Hello Friends ,

I'm here today to share another exciting creation I created using mudras latest stamp release  Flower Bunch stamp set . I totally love this stamp set in particular because it gives me more place to practice my colouring :P

The beautiful bouquets are always luring and if you love trying out your copics, watercolors or any other mediums of colouring you have plenty of place in here . I have coloured them with copics and combination of zig colour pens, giving me the perfect rich look I always like ! I learnt this late but combining various colour pen mediums is what works for me best while colouring as I don't own all the shades in Copics and Clean colours.

So here is how I put this card together -

  • I have adhered the coloured bouquet image on a pink 4"x5.5" cardstock with double sided tape.
  • On the card stock is a golden washi tape which enhances the look of the card .
  • I have added a die cut Thanks which I have die cut several times and adhered on each other creating layers  to give that thick outlook.
